A range of experiences over the past twenty years in medically based fitness, pediatrics, clinical nutrition, and DI collegiate athletics helped her develop a well-balanced nutrition philosophy based on trusting the wisdom of your own body ultimately leading to healing, recovery, and outstanding performances. Her approach centers on food as integral to cultivating connection, joy, and community while also attending to issues of social justice, sociocultural systems, and the environment. In addition to working with clients privately, she dedicates her spare time to advocating for ecologically based agricultural practices and public policy changes with the aim of restoring our food system to a just one.
