Victoria holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition from Colorado State University and completed her dietetic internship at Hines VA Hospital in Hines, IL. She obtained a Master of Science degree in Biology at the University of Nebraska where she focused on ecology and environmental science. You can see her professional profile, publications, and recommendations on LinkedIn at www.linkedin.com/in/lambertrd.
A range of experiences over the past twenty years in medically based fitness, pediatrics, clinical nutrition, and DI collegiate athletics helped her develop a well-balanced nutrition philosophy based on trusting the wisdom of your own body ultimately leading to healing, recovery, and outstanding performances. Her approach centers on food as medicine, and food as integral to cultivating connection, joy, and community while also attending to issues of social justice, sociocultural systems, and the environment. In addition to working with clients privately, she dedicates her spare time to promoting a healthier environment for people and the planet by advocating for ecologically based agricultural practices and public policy changes that lead to richly connected communities with the aim of restoring our food system to a just one.
